Apple Inc. has released a free update for the iPod touch, bringing iPod touch software to version 1.1.5. The update is showing up for people who have not paid US$10 to update to iPod touch 2.0 which brings most of the same benefits as iPhone 2.0 brought for the iPhone (for instance, the App Store).
