Opinion: Getting a Xbox 360 Arcade for a Media Extender

So I am going to get a Xbox 360 Arcade to use as a media extender/video player. They are only $199 and they come with another wireless controller and some games. The Xbox 360 unit it self is not that expensive any more and the real cost is all the money you spend on games and accessories.
