Sling Media has an early Christmas present for Slingbox Classic owners. While users of the new Slingbox Pro, AV, and Tuner boxes have had access to SlingPlayer version 1.4 since the fall, early adopters with an original Slingbox were stuck with version 1.3.

The in-betweens The desktop player software is Windows only for now, so no mixed network environments for you unless you run Windows in a VM or something similar. Since the device used minijack connectors, perhaps the device could have offered more inputs.
